A trade business, not a discount code
TradePro is for trade businesses that buy packaging regularly. The terms say membership is available to trade businesses only, and that it is granted at Packaging Wholesale’s discretion. A closed business must tell us and stop using the account.
A one-off buyer does not need the account. Card, PayPal, Apple Pay and Google Pay work without it. The account is for the desk that reorders tape, cartons or wrap every week.
The rate and the monthly spend
The terms set a base rate of 5% off orders. Higher rates, up to 10%, can apply with the volume of trade. The TradePro page describes the 10% rate when spend is over £1,000 a month. The terms say that £1,000 a month is also the minimum to keep the discounted pricing.
If the spend is not met, the terms say the account can be moved back to standard prices. Getting the rate back means applying again. A previous membership does not guarantee the next one.
How the account pays
TradePro adds BACS to card and PayPal, and it adds priority support and trade-only offers. BACS is not offered on a standard checkout. The payment page covers the card methods everyone can use.
Apply on the TradePro page. The application is reviewed. Approval is not automatic, and the terms allow the rate, the minimum spend and the membership itself to be changed.
Dispatch does not change
A trade order uses the same dispatch rule as any other order. Placed by 3pm, it is dispatched the same day. UK delivery is free on orders over £50 ex VAT. The account changes the price and the way you pay, not the cutoff.
Stocked items can still be returned within 14 days of purchase. Call to arrange the return rather than sending the goods back unannounced.
