Who TradePro is for
TradePro is a trade account for businesses that buy packaging regularly. The terms say membership is for trade businesses only, and that it is granted at our discretion. If the business closes, the terms require the member to tell us and to stop using the account.
It is not a consumer discount code. A one-off order can check out without an account, by card, PayPal, Apple Pay or Google Pay.
What the account includes
TradePro starts at 5% off orders. The terms say higher rates, up to 10%, can apply based on the volume of trade. The account page describes the 10% rate when you spend over £1,000 a month. The terms say the minimum to keep the discounted pricing is £1,000 a month, and that if that spend is not met the account can be moved back to standard prices.
Members also get priority support, BACS as well as card and PayPal, and access to trade-only offers. Apply on the TradePro page. The team reviews the application. A previous account does not guarantee a new one if membership has lapsed.
Dispatch and delivery
Orders placed by 3pm are dispatched the same day. The terms add the aim of delivery by 5.30pm the next working day for internet orders received by 3pm: Monday to Thursday for the next working day, Friday for the following Monday, with bank holidays moving the delivery on. UK delivery is free on orders over £50 ex VAT.
The courier on the homepage is described as a 1 to 3 day service depending on the items. That is the window to plan around, not a promise that every parcel arrives the next morning. The delivery page is the place to read the detail before a large order.
Returns and payment
Stocked items can be returned within 14 days of purchase for a refund, credit or exchange. The returns page says to call us to arrange that. The terms separately limit claims for a defect that was not obvious on delivery.
Payment without a trade account is card, PayPal, Apple Pay or Google Pay. BACS is the TradePro addition. You can shop the box, postal, protection and tape ranges before you apply, and add the account when the orders become regular.
