The weekly gap

If the same carton is always a little large, void fill is the standing line. Loose chips, paper void fill, or Ecoflo peanuts made from corn starch are the options the shop lists. Ecoflo is described as biodegradable.

A Packaging Wholesale buyer who can move to a closer carton will cut that fill every week. Fill does not fix a carton that is wildly oversized.

Not the same as wrap or tape

Bubble cushions a surface. Tape, including the packing tapes this site’s guide covers, closes the flaps. Neither replaces a volume of fill.
